The "custom dashboard" section allows you to create tailor made dashboards and display the relevant key performance indicators related to the monitoring you previously created.
Custom dashboard creation
To create a dashboard, select "add dashboard" on the top right corner and give it a name.
Many charts options are available, just pick the most relevant one(s) according to the data and the way you want them to be displayed.
As always, data are displayed and aggregated according to what is configured in the fields from the top right corner.
Title
This option creates a box with a name in the dashboard. You can also add a link, change the font and background color, customize the font, add an icon, etc...
After saving, you can modify the shape and size of the box by clicking and holding the arrow at the bottom right corner and move the box anywhere in the available space. The icons in the top right corner allow to: - Edit the box - Duplicate the box - Delete the box
Counter
This option creates a box that displays number(s). These are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the dashboard even more by showing the options, add a unit, customize or change the font and background color, add conditions to change the text color, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the number of tests that have been runned by the name of the test.
Pie
This option allows you to create pie chart(s). Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the pie chart(s) even more by showing the options, add a unit, customize or change the font and background color, display multi charts, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the success rate for each test that has been runned for a specific product.
Area range
This option allows you to create an area range chart. Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the chart even more by adding a link or showing the options to add a label or legend, customize the font color, display multi charts, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the cellular call connect duration range over time.
Line / Bar
This option allows you to create a graph. Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the graph even more by adding a link, changing from lines to bars or showing the options to add a label or legend, customize the font color, display multi charts, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the quantity of runned tests for each product.
Percentage area
This option allows you to create a percentage area chart. Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the chart even more by adding a link and showing the options to add labels, units, display multi charts, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the success rate of all 3G tests over time.
Histogram
This option allows you to create a histogram chart. Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the chart even more by adding a link and showing the options to add labels, units, display multi charts, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the distribution of the run time for all tests.
Table
This option allows you to create a table. Data are calculated according to the query setup in the "query builder" field:
Measurement: the data source you want to use
Filtered by: the data you want to focus on
Select: the information you want to display
Grouped by: if you want to group specific data
You can customize the table even more by adding a link and showing the options to sort data, change the cell colors depending on specific criteria, etc...
The following example shows you how to display the quantity of actions runned for each kind of action, and the time taken to run them.
Custom display
This option allows you to display fully customized data according to a script. Setting up this kind of chart needs advanced knowledge on scripting and is usually performed by Kapptivate experts.

Custom dashboards management
By default, a new custom dashboard is created on the main page.
However, it's possible to create folders to sort dashboards in different categories. To create a folder, click on "add collection" and enter a name.
Every folder can be moved, renamed or deleted:
Dashboards can be edited, cloned, deleted, moved to a specific folder or set as favorite (they will appear with a yellow star on top of the dashboard list).
You can also access previously deleted dashboard by clicking on the "trash" button.
