🎯 Overview
- Each generated KPI in kapptivate can be used to trigger alerts and send notifications to specific users through various channels.
🔎 Open the “Alerts setup” page

In the kapptivate interface, click Alerts setup (under the Incidents section).
The page displays all currently configured alerts.
➕ Create a new alert

From the Alerts setup page, click create alert in the top right corner.
You can then select the alert type and complete the related settings.
📈 Threshold alerts

This alert type triggers a notification when defined thresholds are reached or exceeded.
- Give your alert a name.
- Define the alert source (query / KPI). For query examples, see the custom dashboards page.
- Set the warning and critical thresholds.
- (Optional) Narrow the alert to specific products, platforms, or tests, and set up a recurring notification.
Available notification channels:
- Slack
- SMS
- Microsoft Teams
- Webhook
📊 Success rate alerts over the last runs

This alert type is based on the success rate computed over the latest runs.
- Give your alert a name.
- Specify how many latest points (runs) should be checked.
- Set the warning and critical thresholds.
- (Optional) Narrow the alert to specific products, platforms, or tests, and set up a recurring notification.
Available notification channels:
- Slack
- SMS
- Microsoft Teams
- Webhook
